It is located just 150 feet from the side of the 'Falls Express' chair elevator which provides easy access to the Ski School and other elevators. Feathertop Alpine Lodge is located in Falls Creek and offers a convenient ski-in, ski-out location on the mountain. Mt Feathertop was the second ski destination to disappear from the awareness of skiers. However, when the aim came to ski Feathertop, after a number of trips up the Bungalow Spur I deemed the amount of walking would eat too much into a weekend! Loved our stay here! By 1950 there were two dozen lodges either built or under construction at Buller while Hotham had five lodges, two ski huts and another lodge nearby at Mt St Bernard.
